On Tuesday, March 23rd, the Autism Professionals Circle will host Carolyn Nuyens, Director of the HANDLE Institute (San Rafael), and Dror Schneider, of HANDLE By the Bay in San Francisco. The name HANDLE stands for a Holistic Approach to NeuroDevelopment and Learning Efficiency. Gentle EnhancementTM is the foundational concept in the HANDLE paradigm. It is based on the understanding once the body is stressed it moves into a defensive fight or flight mode and the process of learning stops. Therefore, HANDLE practitioners urge clients to stop an activity at the first indication of stress. It is an effective, non-drug alternative for identifying and treating most neurodevelopmental disorders across the lifespan including Autism, ADD, ADHD, Dyslexia and Tourette's Syndrome.  For more information about HANDLE see
This meeting of the Autism Professionals Circle is an excellent opportunity to learn about HANDLE directly from our special guests, both of whom are certified HANDLE Practitioners and Instructors.
